An Dord Feinne
(The Fighters Call)
Óró, sé do bheatha abhaile. A song with significant historical connotations, originally written about the Jacobite rebellion and Bonny Prince Charlie. Rewritten by Padraig Pearse, replacing him in the lyrics of the song with warrior maiden Granuaile (Grace O’Malley) to try to inspire the Irish to lead our own rebellion without outside help. It worked!
This would have been heard across the mountains and glens of Ireland sung by the Irish Volunteers as they were out patrolling the countryside. It became known as An Dord Feinne (the fighters call). As these globalist traitors prepare now to go to war with us for real, we must remember our history. We are warriors.
We will never be afraid of these people. Fear is an inhibitor. A useless emotion which goes nowhere. Channel that fear into anger and we will be ready for whatever comes. This is and always will be our country and we are right.
Erin go Bragh!
