Another, prescient piece Stephen. My Grandfather who's nickname was 'Tom Rusty Gun' was born in 1884 in Gort in Co. Galway, (which is currently 25% Brazillian for some reason.) As I write this comment I'm looking at his 'Comrac' medal, awarded for active service during the War of Independence, of which he was rightly proud. He became a minor local celebrity just over a century ago, when he shot dead two Black and Tans, from a haycart in a skirmish with his old Rusty rifle. Sadly the rusty old rifle no longer exists, but It is increasingly looking likely that, after 100 years I may be forced by circumstances to enter the family haycart business once more.

He did it so I wouldn't have to. But alas lesser men and women have created the present times with their weakness and greed.

When a parent stands over the grave of one of their children it is the most difficult thing imaginable ,the parents of those of the 1916 rebellion did that and held on to the comfort that they died for future generations to have respect, when I see greta mcentee wearing the cumann na mban style dress in the dail I think how low can a person si nk for greed, when I hear minister Martin talk of international obligations to scammers who decapitate gay men, murder innocent women and stab and terrify infant children I think of proper patriots mcsweeney/mc curtain/.,Barry,l.Leo is a self professed sodomite and it seems he wants to convert us all.The foreighners should stay in their own countries and make them better as our ancestors did banishing imperial powers.Mary lou deceived the people and abandoned them and fianna fail want sharia law no nuances .This is not a rant but a thoughtful conclusion.I don't believe in flag waveing but my ancestors not so long ago died so as I could be free and proud.

There is nothing else on my mind and will only speak of the trouble our nation is in , mostly the people want to talk about other things but I am not interested in anything else. So they either put up with me or go away , I speak peacefully and hope that at least something gets in, My first wife told me yesterday that she is shitting herself going to work early in the mornings , we both grew up in this estate she lives in and her work is only 800 mtrs from her door. Not right , simple as that.

Well said. It’s amazing we have to go over all this again & again but still hear the same rhetoric of racist & backwardness coming from government, ngo’s & the last of the terrified jab heads who won’t let go. Ireland has showed compassion to African American civil rights, indigenous people of US, Palestine, Mexican freedom fighters & fought side by side with our own oppressors in two world wars to name a few examples. We’ve traveled to the four corners where we’ve worked to be internationally liked & respected. Now all of a sudden we’ve changed!?

No chance. We keep going with awareness, humour & stealth. We use our senses against this assault for our lives that’s left. We’re galvanised & they’re out in the open elements faded

I've come to a stage where I refuse to even say 'it's okay to love your people', 'we welcome foreigners' or 'this isn't about colour' etc. I'm not being put on the back foot any more. I'm not justifying or defending myself when our position is both a greater moral good and logically consistent. How many times have people in the public eye (like Katie Harrington) felt forced in to make these kinds of statements. It descends in to a soviet show trial, and the 'accused' has to publicly proclaim 'I reject racism in all its forms' blah blah. It's buckbreaking, it's sad and it's pathetic. Apologies for the rant.

Sure, some people have to hear certain things to make them a bit braver to speak up. On occasion I will simply point out the moral imperative to speak up, which is the closest I come to these kinds of statements.

The was a referendum in Australia (I forget what for, but that's not the point) where the people had a yes/no vote. The 'no' side had the motto 'it's okay to vote 'no''. They lost. Obviously. They were already painting themselves as in the closet with their position, as opposed to being out and proud.

I’m the same now myself, when I’m making concessions it’s more out of responsibility for calming down inevitable tensions that may result from this. I really don’t want to see any decent migrants getting hurt. There are people out there who only have one speed and if I get reach them through writing not to do anything rash it would make me happy, because any incidents that get out of control will be front page news. I still believe we can do this peacefully. Once the tide turns repatriation is the first order of business.

Compassion,Christian ethos of charity and tolerance are seen by the Enemy as a fatal weakness to be cynically exploited mercilessly.

Time to face Reality, they are supplanting us and using the tactics of discrimination in Housing ,Health,Education, Employment to force our Youth to emigrate abroad.

This is Ethnic Cleansing in progress.

We need to get in survival mode and take the gloves off and fight back by every means or perish as a Nation.
