NGO’s pushing heinous, divisive, false narratives

To whom it may concern,

I am writing to you in the hope of engaging in a discussion with your organisation.  I am part of a team of people actively involved in independent journalism, affiliated with the online newspaper, wethepeople.ie.  We also have a podcast connected to the website called ‘Caint Saor’, which, as you may know is as Gaeilge for free speech.  It’s a right and a virtue we believe very strongly in, so much so, that we champion and support this right being afforded to all equally, including those with whom we disagree, every bit as much as ourselves.  We would love to have a representative from your organisation on the show, to discuss a few issues the general public may not be aware of and to also further educate ourselves. We wish to promote open, honest communication, in the interest of transparency.  

With the NGO sector enjoying €5.9 billion of funding from the Irish taxpayer, it is our belief that there should be accountability for such a generous contribution.  It is also our belief that the creation of entire organisations, such as yours, backed by public money to tackle issues which are trivial to the daily lives of most Irish people and we feel don’t warrant such focused attention, are excessive to say the least.  There are many competing causes, one would argue are more deserving of such a sizeable portion of the public purse.  

The Irish people are perhaps one of the most welcoming people in the world and have opened their arms and indeed their hearts to every nationality that has come to our shores.  Which begs the question, why the concerted effort and campaign,  to generalise and continually depict them as racist, when nothing could be further from the truth.  Racism, while it surely exists, is clearly not such a massive problem in Ireland that organisations such as yourselves need to be set up in order to re-educate the ignorant, indigenous population.  Does nationalism and a love of one’s culture and ethnicity qualify as racist by your current definition?  Is warranted criticism of the governments policy on immigration also considered a such?  From what sources do your funding come from if not the tax payer?  These are the types of questions we would like to tease out an answer to from you, to give a clearer picture as to what your actual motives are to the Irish people, who are beginning to feel increasingly victimised for expressing an opinion on the direction their country is headed.

Racial violence does happen, of course, but it happens in both directions and in Ireland, is largely concentrated within an already criminal class and seldom spills over into the general public.  When such heinous incidents occur, this should be the business solely of An Garda Siochana, the DPP and the judiciary.  That is why it seems rather strange to us that you have a report line on your website.  Have you been granted statutory power to act on such matters in a way that law enforcement cannot? 

However, taking all this into account, we are happy to be proven wrong and would like to grant you the opportunity to give your side, but as I’m sure you understand, the Irish people deserve answers when it comes to the type of projects their tax money is giving rise to.  

Please be aware that should you decide to engage with us, it will be a robust discussion and debate in which we will expect you to endeavour to justify the existence of INAR with facts, figures and data and rest assured we will do the same to make sure due diligence is fully carried out on our part as to why we are challenging you.  Open dialogue and rigorous debate is the only way to get to the core of an issue and it’s something that has been sadly lacking in the social sphere of this country for a number of years now.  We promise that this is by no means a witch hunt and whoever we speak to from your organisation - should our offer be accepted - will be treated with the utmost respect and courtesy regardless of our likely disagreement on certain matters.

I will give you 7 days to reply to this correspondence.

  If there is no reply I will assume your tacit acquiescence that I may publish an article regarding this which will inevitably be one-sided due to your failure to engage with us.  Please be aware the contents of this mail will be referenced therein.

This is an email I sent on Friday 15th April, requesting open dialogue with an NGO called INAR, the Irish Network Against Racism, which has been bombarding social media, for a number of weeks, with derogatory and divisive depictions of the Irish people.  The imagery they have chosen to use is really shocking and in my view highly offensive and distasteful, as it represents the indigenous Irish population - who have welcomed almost every nationality and ethnicity you care to name to our island, largely with open arms - in an extremely negative light.  The Irish are not in any way a racist people and if such a broad generalisation was levelled at people new to the community, of a different ethic background it would be universally be met with disgust and perhaps legal avenues explored.  But the Irish it seems are not afforded such protections within our own country.  There are already existing laws to tackle the very issues these non-elected quangos are being set up to ‘tackle’.  The very methods they are engaging in would be absolutely slaughtered and deemed hateful if they came from the other side of the political divide.  They are akin to social vigilantes, because they have no electoral mandate or statutory power and it is high time they were held to account to answer some basic questions.  Of course they did not respond as we expected, but the offer had to be made nonetheless as there are two sides to every story.  Every side of every story must be heard in order for clarity to be gleaned.  Their lack of a response, clearly shows the contempt these organisations - who are almost entirely funded by taxpayers money - have for the opinions of those bank rolling them.  

It is my belief and the belief of many others, that these far left leaning NGO’s are being so heavily funded in order to actually stoke up racial divisions, creating a situation whereby the native people are purposefully antagonised, leading them to react angrily.  Coupled with new hate speech legislation this is an effective and highly cynical tactic by the establishment to quell the justified rising dissent from the indigenous population, who have the temerity to believe they have any sort of a say or opinion on they direction their country is being taken in.  These politicians and leftist organisations are now so powerful, they think they have a right to do as they please, acting unilaterally and with absolute impunity.  They are behaving like dictators who believe they have the divine right to steer the direction of this country, contorting and twisting it into some multi-national, dystopian hell hole.

  They deliberately and disgracefully blur the lines between nationalism and racism.  If you have nationalist leanings and have pride in your culture and heritage in modern day Ireland, then you are by extension, by current logic, clearly a racist or a fascist.  Ordinary decent people, who just want to raise their children in a safe environment, are becoming increasingly angered and sickened by these ideologues, who are doing everything within their power - very soon through actual statutory means - to deny them a voice in their own country.  They throw around terms like ‘hate’ and ‘fascist’ like snuff at a wake, using words for maximum effect, which carry a seriously negative charge in order to demonise and castigate those whose only crime is that they dare to disagree with them.

The racists and fascists that the ‘liberals’ - and I use that term liberally - see everywhere, are simply people who love and cherish individual freedom and are willing to defend it with their lives if necessary.  I would much rather sit down and have an open and robust discussion with them on certain topics, but they have proven over the past few years they are not prepared to do that.  The fact that they invariably resort to childish name calling proves they are actually incapable.

Someone like me who believes in the concept of social housing and who has a strong position on worker’s rights is now apparently a far right Nazi, just because I also happen to hold nationalist sympathies.  This is how warped it has become out there.

The hysterical reaction of the left, regarding the horrific murders in Sligo should really open peoples eyes to how out of touch with reality and blinded by ideology they are.  Some bizarrely tweeted it was the fault of Catholics, others that Irish men were just as capable of meeting out the same judgement to gay people as the accused.  My memory may be flaky, but I don’t remember Ireland’s history of beheadings stretching back any further than April.  No, this is simply a collective psychological spasm from a political ideology that holds completely contradictory views governed by emotion rather than logic.  Sinn Fein, (the former Republican, now Globalist party) looked like they were on their way to a gay wedding, when pictured at the recent demonstration for the two poor unfortunate victims of the recent gruesome and shocking murders, Aidan Moffitt and Michael Snee.  Smiles beamed across their faces, not even having the decency to pretend to act solemnly in the wake of such horror and tragedy.  There in attendance merely to make political gains and to engage in the lefts favourite pastime, virtue signalling.  Surfing the wave of emotional energy, an inevitable consequence of perhaps the most gruesome killings in the history of the state.  

Not in any universe can Globo-homo and Islam coexist, yet the left and Irish establishment will tell you it’s racist or hateful to entertain such notions.  Gay and trans people themselves will be one of the primary demographics who will suffer most from their own mental firewall.  It is not acceptable, of course, to raise a point like this in a sensible discussion or open debate without it descending into chaos and a cascade of ironically hateful titles being dishonourably bestowed upon you.  It has become an enormous problem which has totally undermined our republic, to the point where, the spawn of Lenin’s ‘useful idiots’ are held up as paragons of virtue who hold ‘acceptable’ views and are the main group being pandered to, but are somehow strangely, simultaneously still victims.  The establishment, who have their own globalist agenda, are ruthlessly exploiting this social dysfunctionality to the point where we will now see laws introduced which are based on people’s feelings.  It would not at all be surprising to see the next raft of judicial appointees chosen not on merit, but on their political views to enforce the coming draconian crackdown on free speech.  For this is how regimes who seek to become totalitarian operate.  The elimination of dissent is the primary target.  Truth is the enemy of tyranny.  This will be justified of course on the basis of ‘equity’ and ‘equal opportunity’, but equality of outcome rather than equality of opportunity.

In Sweden, rapes and violent crime is hugely over-represented by migrants from cultures who do not assimilate well.  Does this mean that all migrants are violent people, of course not, to make such a broad generalisation is totally irresponsible and most definitely xenophobic.  However it does highlight the need for proper vetting and border control.   In 2005, the Swedish Crime Prevention Agency published a report about the link between immigration and crime. The large influx of migrants into in the country has seen a direct correlation in the rise of criminal activity.  The investigation (from 2002 to 2017) covers seven distinct categories of crime, and distinguishes between seven regions of origin. Based on 33% of the population (2017), 58% of suspects for total crime on reasonable grounds are migrants. For the crimes of murder, manslaughter and attempted murder, the figures are 73% while the proportion of robbery is 70%.  Non-registered migrants are linked to about 13% of total crime. In this small control group, crime propensity among non-registered migrants is quite significant.

Given these statistics, it is not a stretch to suggest that a similar outcome could present itself here in Ireland.  Particularly considering the last 3 high profile vicious murders in the country were by two of, what the establishment likes to refer to as, the ‘New Irish’.  Mother’s and fathers across the land have every right to ask questions of this government and demand tighter control on who’s coming into the country.  They have genuine concerns on the future safety of the streets their sons and daughters walk on.  Are their daughters at risk of being gang raped by devotees of the religion of peace, for daring to dress up nice to meet her friends - like what has happened for years in the UK?  Are their sons at risk of being beaten to a pulp by a gang of young men from a different culture, who have been ghettoised as a result of the cauldron environment the governments irresponsible and dangerous policies have  fostered?  People are being told to cut back and cut down on energy, farmers told to reduce their heads of cattle, yet we are expecting to sustain a further 200,000 Ukrainian refugees with less energy and resources.  I am no mathematical genius, but something doesn’t add up.  It doesn’t make any sense.  Unless it’s deliberate.  There could be a complete disaster and genuine racial animosity in the coming years if different ethnicities are forced to compete and fight for scraps.

We have entered extremely bizarre and dangerous territory in the history of this nation.  The expression of oneself, even with something as innocuous as professing love for your country, could in the future by a certain mindset, be deemed not inclusive or hateful.  It is not the Irish way, we are a very expressive, passionate people, we will not be silenced so easily, regardless of the consequences.  So much of what is happening right now is alien to me and I’m sure to anyone else who holds this land dear.  It is unconscionable and yet it marches on unmolested.  For now at least.  Criticism of government immigration policy may soon be the equal of racism.  See how easily an overly simplified, emotive approach can be weaponised to completely crush dissent.  Limerick Fianna Fáil TD Cathal Crowe basically admitted as much, boasting in his address to the Oireachtas that this is how the coming legislation should and could be used.  

The Ireland that seems to be manifesting into reality in the run up to 2030, could be a place where an opinion could see you lose your job or even incarcerated.  An ideological police state.  Think the way we want you to, or we will lock you up.  People may think that’s far fetched, but that is precisely what’s on the table.  Dress it up whatever way you like, but that is not a free country and most certainly not the Republic that blood was spilled for to achieve.  What took eight centuries of struggle, war and hardship to gain, has been all but destroyed in little more than a decade by forces within.  It’s a bleak outlook but the Irish people have proven time and again throughout the generations how resourceful and tough we are.  This too we shall overcome.
