A beautiful tribute to your lovely grandmother, Stephen.

Our traditional Irish way of mourning is something that helps immensely with healing.

Family and friends together remembering the person who has died and the stories connecting your family.

As you have so rightly pointed out,

"family and love are the things we need more than anything else to sustain us"

Your beautiful memories and your loving, proud, talented family will get you through the lonely days, please God.

Oh my sincere condolences Stephen to you and your family. Grief is never easy but grief for a dear loved one is so much harder. Your Granny will be looking over you all from heaven. She had a truly beautiful funeral service and I especially loved the inclusion of a Piper (that is also my wish) and what a brilliant Song she chose to comfort her grieving family as she left the Church. She spoke to you all in that Song. A great woman by all accounts. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a h-anam dílis 🙏.

Aw Stephen! Wow! What an incredible piece. As moving as it is beautiful, in all its aspects. Your Nan (RIP) comes across indeed as an amazing and cherishible lady who meeted out so much practical love throughout her, thankfully, long lifetime. It is said that apples never fall far from the tree. In that context I think that you can be justifiably proud to be among the associated apples, at this time. God bless you and all of your family and may Nan, while resting in peace, none the less dip in, once in a while, with wisdom projected via the ether, to her beloved family. 🙏🇮🇪🙏

Kathleen was a gorgeous lady and she was blessed to have had such a lovely caring family. You gave her a terrific send-off and I hope she RIP

You know Stephen, in the photo with your nan and grandad, you look like your grandad, but in another photo, you look like Kathleen. You got a bit of both and you are a credit to them. I'm sure they'll be watching over you. Isn't it sad how all that they accumulated, all that they learnt goes with them. You're lucky that you spent such a long time with them, so it will have rubbed off. Anyway it's good that at least she lived a very long life being loved by her many offsprings xxx

The sad part is her mind was still perfect only her body gave up. That’s what hurts.
