The Others
If the ordinary people out protesting in Dublin the other day were really such violent thugs as the media have relentlessly claimed since, then I’m sure there would have been plenty of examples over the past few years. Particularly when you consider the enormous lengths the media go to, to attempt to depict them as such, that’s why they need to criminalise speech and freedom of expression and twist and turn the natural human emotion of anger into this abstract concept of ‘hate’ which is entirely subjective and not defined, because the harsh truth is, these people have been far too peaceful and they have no idea how to deal with them. They have to create the notion of words being weapons, simply because the people have been too peaceful and that’s a problem.
Politicians telling blatant lies, the positioning of plants in the crowd to cause trouble etc. The government and media really have to start looking at themselves and realising that they are the ones who have caused this problem in our society, through the relentless introduction of top down impositions upon people, with the blatant aim of changing the nature of who the Irish people are. They are the ones who have stoked the division by labelling people and dividing them into social categories; whether it be race, sexual orientation or whatever the case may be and then fostering a culture where these people identify solely as that label while they simultaneously encourage victimhood. But of course they won’t ever look at themselves, the Irish people are simply wrong and need to be suppressed, silenced and criminalised.
They have largely succeeded in turning a vibrant, funny, intelligent, loving and joyful people into compliant mutes who are afraid to speak up. The people pushing back represent the last bastion of old Ireland, that’s why they need to be destroyed. The relentless media campaign to depict them as terrorists and somehow dangerous to ‘democracy’, when all they wish to do is assert their rights is extremely sinister.
The fact that a sizeable number of the population are being treated so appallingly by the state is proof they are the ones who do not value democracy or the principle of a republic. They are who want to destroy our country in favour of totalitarianism. These decent people who refuse to lie down, are the true victims, not the politicians or the numerous groups with protected characteristics whose rights they champion. But they refuse to grumble about it and push on regardless in the face of real hate and venom.
Why are they victims you may ask? Because a climate has been created where these people are presented to the masses as ok to hate. There has to be a villain, will the establishment ever blame themselves? All these ‘villains’ are merely people refuse to let go of what our country stands for (or at least used to) and that simply won’t do. These are people within your family, who some of you have turned on despite knowing them all your lives, because they presented a different reality to the television. The constant labelling and ‘othering’ of people is a deliberate tactic used by authoritarian regimes of the past. It is not new.
‘Anti-vaxxers, ‘racists’, ‘fascists’, ‘far-right’, ‘Nazis’ all labels designed to dehumanise people so it makes it more palatable and acceptable to exterminate them when they become too much of a problem to have around anymore. The Bolshevik stool pigeons refered to the zeks in the Gulags of the USSR as ‘fascists’ so they had a clear conscience when they were treating them like animals and murdering them.
Evil always presents itself as good in order to get the support of the public. Those who recognise the evil are always presented as the bad guys because the inversion of reality is the only way this would ever be accepted. Then when the mask finally comes off it’s too late.
Society by then has already been psychologically and ideologically changed and ordinary people can be led into doing the most barbaric deeds to others because the media told them they were less than human anyway. That’s how - in the past - totalitarian regimes functioned, those who disagree can’t be tolerated so are eventually exterminated.
That’s the system they eventually want and are currently striving to bring into existence. They want you to hate those people they have denied a voice to and have relentlessly targeted for 3 years straight, so they can manipulate you into turning them into a pile of skeletons. Then they will come for you if you one day decide to disagree.

I don't know if you were there Stephen but there was no imported agitator, state actor or what have you, element to it.
It was basically one guy who has few more around him and has drawn in some more on private groups he has. He goes everywhere looking for trouble and throwing a punch when he can. There's even an attempt at a black block thing going on. He enjoys it, he enjoys the feedback in the groups, there's no strategic thinking involved.
Once it got started a few people joined in the nonsense with Healy Rae, people who I have stood beside before as they chatted peacefully with TDs.
There were about 300 there over the day. 280 of them would have made a decent protest of it.
Anything that puts a smile on the face of Antifa and RTE is a bad mistake. No one should be wasting their time trying to defend it.
Presumably the same thing happens here as happened with Graham Carey and Kev Coyle. There's an arrest and suddenly the likes and the private groups don't seem that important and we don't hear much from certain parties any more.
Meanwhile we seem to be moving on and street protest will fade in to the background in importance. A lot of the people from Wednesday will be left behind. A lot of people who have felt they needed to keep their heads down up til now will begin to come forward and take over. Hopefully.
Well written and completely accurate. Thank you.
