Our Republic Lives
The day the people roared back
As the toxic reptiles within the Irish establishment lick their wounds in what was an absolute chastening in democratic terms, the Irish people can be forgiven for taking a moment to revel in what was a resounding victory for true democracy, with the counting in the aftermath revealing the most emphatic majority for the people against the state in living memory. They can also breathe a huge sigh of relief. Make no mistake about it, Ireland dodged a bullet here. The media can spew out all the nonsense they want about poor communication and all the other guff they are coming out with, but it won’t alter the truth. The people smelled a rat and responded almost unanimously. The so called shady far right are always accused of being a ‘threat to democracy’ but you just watch the undemocratic manoeuvring these fascists engage in in the next few weeks and months to try justify coming back at us despite such an overwhelming embarrassment. It’s already begun. We weren’t too dumb to understand, you patronising traitors, you were too dumb to read the room and now once more you look stupid in full view of the whole world. If you ignore this you can never again claim you stand for democracy.
This piece will not be going into too many specifics on things, it will be more just broad observations, many people have gone into great detail on the NO side which is a huge reason why the campaign was successful, so that has already been done considerably. Besides the government with all the millions they threw at this, didn’t even bother to adequately explaining or define their proposals, so they don’t deserve any more from this Substack. Also, I f you are looking for balance in this article you won’t find it. I am unapologetically biased towards the NO side. I believe that there was dishonest, malicious and even evil intent behind what the Irish people were asked to vote on.
The Irish people are simply no longer buying the snake oil the regime are selling. The two nonsense referendums they ran which cost an estimated €23 million, attempted to change the very nature of our republic forever by more or less rendering the constitution null and void due to the vagueness of its new wording and would have done precisely that, had they succeeded. It’s no coincidence that Fine Gael’s (they now have help) onslaught on our constitution which started with Enda Kenny, gleefully succeeded by Varadkar, has seen them target with a laser beam specifically the articles pertaining to the family and its relationship to the state.
These globalist proxies deeply embedded in our establishment want to change the very nature of this country forever and in order to do that they need to attack the very group (the family) which represents the strongest obstacle to their nefarious agenda. To do that they need to undermine the document which enshrines their rights and guides the legislative process in relation to the the family (which has already been severely compromised) so they can blur the lines of reality, creating new loose definitions for words in the new ‘progressive’ kip they have created. A situation where basically anything goes. What is a durable relationship? Anything they want that’s what. When they shirk their own responsibilities as legislators and say they will leave it up to the judiciary you know there is something seriously rotten afoot. They are not the most trustworthy to begin with. An open ended definition subject to interpretation can pave the way for unprecedented levels of migration into the country. Imagine a scenario where high powered lawyers commissioned by NGO’s can now legally argue the merits of what constitutes a durable relationship on a case by case basis. It would be disastrous. Our legal system is already fast becoming more complex due to concepts like equity and diversity creeping in, weakening the age old maxim of equality. This would put further pressure on any remaining sensible, more conservative minded judges to conform to the new woke religion or be deemed out of touch.
Neale ‘supersize me’ Richmond let the cat out of the bag on Virgin Media when he got a wee bit excited about the prospect of Muhammad’s six wives arriving with kids in tow to be given Irish passports, which are now no more valuable than butter vouchers at the rate they are being handed out at these citizenship ceremonies. Ceremonies which are sadly becoming more and more frequent. The well fed Blueshirt could barely contain his excitement at the prospect of ‘durable relationships’ being used as a Trojan horse in order to widen the scope of Irelands already psychotic immigration policy. That’s before a ball was even kicked on Friday! Another sinister aspect to this is the possibility of the age of consent being lowered, which has been documented in UN proposals. Could a child in care one day find themselves in a durable relationship with a pedophile? That sounds insane, but is it really?
Peter Tatchells mate, who can’t seem to hold onto children in state care - and when he’s questioned about it, acts like he’s the victim - was the main protagonist in this whole sordid affair. This is against the backdrop of numerous scandals involving him. The worst of which being unvetted migrants holding third party contracts to have stewardship over children in state care. One such man, he just so happened to sit with on a joint policing committee board. It’s hugely coincidental that his ministerial briefs encompass both these issues, which many believe would have been impacted by the proposed constitutional changes. Migration and children fall under his remit. Nothing suspicious at all there.
It’s odd that his department are facilitating the funnelling in of migrants by the bus load into DP centres and he is also the minister for children whose department oversees Tusla, the child protection agency. A man with connections to a known pedophile activist, bizarrely placed in this ministerial brief stinks to high heaven for me. Not only that but he is also responsible for bringing forward these referendums without pre-legislative scrutiny. And on top of that still an internal leak - we only know about because On The Ditch reported it - confirmed he ignored the Attorney General’s letter to him in which he was advised that the wording of the new amendments could open up a legal can of worms that would result in a chaotic situation in our courts system. I’m not making accusations without proof but is this a man to be trusted with the most vulnerable children in the state? A man who is also a vocal supporter of children changing gender. There’s less red flags in China. How, I wonder, would O’Gorman define ‘durable relationships’ if he were to speak plainly without the political spin? I do wonder indeed.
If you were to interview for the position he holds in the private sector, surely you could find a more suitable candidate than a childless, homosexual man who is friendly with pedophile activists to be the top man in charge of children’s welfare. Roderic O’Gorman must either resign or be sacked. His position is untenable. The Irish people do not trust him in this role or in any role for that matter. He is a highly questionable individual to say the least, who has done untold harm to this nation. It’s not only him sadly, with people like Lynn Ruane in the Seanad who are euthanisia zealots, the Care referendum too, could have potentially sent us down an equally sinister black hole. I’ll allow you to draw your own conclusions on that one.
Ireland parried a major telegraphed punch with this. When untrustworthy criminals (which they demonstrably are) try to cloak their intentions behind vague definitions, the only sensible response should be NO. What have they ever done to earn our trust? One of the most hilarious parts in the aftermath of all this, is all the Sinn Feigning going on. “Oh we didn’t draft the wording”, “The government skipped over pre-legislative scrutiny”. All waffle. You supported it so that makes you not only equally as guilty, but also complete imbeciles. Not only did you support it, your campaign posters were every bit as vague and obtuse. Perhaps even more so. Mary-Lou McDonald getting heckled by Dee Wall, Andy Heasman and Gavin Pepper in Dublin Castle was one of the most comedic moments I’ve witnessed in a long time. I actually laughed heartily. It was also hugely symbolic. The hypocrisy of her trying to say she is not out of touch with the Irish people as she sneers and turns her back on them to face the microphones of the propagandists, was a beautiful moment of truth and catharsis for all to see and even better was the fact it made RTÉ news! Priceless.
McDonald’s party colleague Aengus Ó Snodaigh also got a rude awakening when he thought he could walk the streets of Dublin with ease. There is no way out of this for Dim Féin. They backed the house on open borders and a new voter base. They even said they would run the referendums again in the event of a No vote. They are finished. They have completely lost the support of the only people they ever really had in the republic; the Dublin working class. They are on the scrap heap as a party. They will also have to share the spoils of Paddystinians and ‘new Irish’ with People Before Profit, Labour and the Social Democrats so all is not rosy in the garden for the Provo’s, who were expecting to make a good stab at forming the next government. One could even argue that People Before Profit have done more in recent times to appeal to that particular hyper emotional, low intelligence demographic.
So what does this all mean in essence? This is not just about these referendums. This is about the past for years and beyond. The abuse, bullying and psychological subjugation of the Irish people has finally reached its limit. All of you great men and women out there who have fought these bastards every day for four years straight, this win is for you. Savour it. You now have something tangible to hold on to. You defeated a multi-billion dollar machine with raw talent, sweat, dedication and pure love. You should all be hugely proud of yourselves. You did your country an enormous service. They will of course try to gaslight us and attempt to save face and try point fingers at each other but this really boils down to one thing. They have completely lost the people’s trust. We have earned it.
This is a message from Ireland to the globalists, that we reject their woke degenerates who they have planted as our representatives. Woke is dead in Ireland. Outside fortress Dun Laoghaire nobody wants this rubbish you are trying to sell us. You can’t even build a children’s hospital and you want to psychologically reframe us as a people? Fuck right off! Don’t patronise us and don’t come back! Better people than you lot have finally made their voices heard and they have spoken with authority. The vote was close to 80-20 in some constituencies, don’t you dare come back with your filth. This is the people’s victory. We have proven our republic still functions and that you will have a monumental task trying to assimilate us into the Borg.
The regime have no mandate for anything now. Hate speech, mass migration, none of it! We the Irish people reject you and it’s up to you to solve it. If political parties want to have any relevance in this country going forward they need to stop with globalism and return to policies that are beneficial to the Irish people. None of us want to see anarchy, we want sensible governance where the government stays out of our lives and builds infrastructure. So put down the rainbow flags and finish building the children’s hospital if you care so much. It’s time now for a new conversation with the people - not the NGO’s and citizens assemblies - at the heart of it. We know this is not the end and you will likely try to punish us for this, but we are ready. We were ready from the moment you declared war on us. We are way stronger now.
I’m out of action at present personally. I never even made it out to vote on Friday because I ended up in hospital on Wednesday night due to an unexpected illness, perhaps stress related who knows. I’m improving but still not home. This result has given me a huge boost and even though I have vowed to take a break, boredom has intervened and writing is a great way to both fill the time and occupy the brain. I also want to enjoy this victory as they have not come around too often. I’m currently sharing a ward with three older men, one of which is a great character. An 80 year old man who still runs his own business, we’ve been having serious craic and the extremist rhetoric is flying with even the migrant nurses joining in with the craic. He was over the moon with the news of the double No vote and he summed it up in one sentence better than I could in this whole article.
“They are trying to turn the Irish people into something they never were, and never will be!”
Sir, take a bow, few could have simplified it better.

As usual, a brilliantly written article. Hope you get well soon Stephen, take a wee rest and recuperate, you have earned it. Relax awhile, savour this victory and bathe your feet in the salty tears of the woke. The War is far from over but this battle was decisevly ours. A morale boost of immeasurable proportions.
Get well soon.
Looks like we've found the Endor imperial bunker and it's in Dún Laoghaire!
